I am offering my 1988 Lincoln Town Car that I purchased at the end of November last year, I am the third owner with the original owner having purchased the car brand new from Jesman Motors in nearby Torrington CT in September of 1988, he was a local HVAC contractor/business owner and he kept the car in a garage all of its life and sold the car to the second owner in 2021. The second owner sold the car due to a lack of storage space which has become my issue with keeping it as well. I have owned 5 of these cars now over a period of 34 years starting with my first one in the fall of 1989(a 1985 version) and now having this, my fifth, at the present time. I know these cars inside and out so I will be able to give you an honest and candid assessment of this car. I want to be very clear about this: I strive to be direct and totally transparent with everything that I sell and a car is a major leap of faith for a buyer on so many levels so, with that preamble out of the way lets move on to the car itself. This car was equipped with every option except the sunroof, digital dash and CD player. Above the signature trim level it was optioned with the following: contrasting maroon piped leather seats, bodyside protection molding, Traction Lok rear differential, True dual exhaust, auto dimming headlights, JBL audio system, Cambria cloth carriage roof and true spoke wire wheels. This is a highly optioned Town car high above the base model. Silver frost Clearcoat metallic with Titanium/Cabernet interior seat trim. Moving on to the work done to this car, the second owner flushed and changed ALL of the fluids, replaced brake calipers and other brake parts including some of the brake lines, replaced the tires (the tires have less than 1500 miles on them) He also had the paint corrected with a total cutting, glazing and application of ceramic coat finish-the paint is thick, slick and in outstanding condition. I have all of the dealership receipts for work performed at Torrington Ford on this car by second owner. I also have the Marti report which also details options on this car and dates of assembly and sale at dealership local to me. Roughly 4500 dollars have been invested in this car by previous owner and myself. I am a bit OCD about my cars and want them to be as close to perfect as I can get them.
